Hi friends. I am really excited about the response to last week’s post about wedding diets. It was very interesting to hear from different people on the blog and through social media on how wedding prep triggered (or didn’t!) a will to diet/workout. With about 30 days to go until my own wedding, it’s something that’s been on my mind.

After last week’s taste of summer, I’m not thrilled about the gloomy, grey weather in this week’s forecast. Anyone else feeling me on this?

Lucky for me, last weekend had glorious sunny weather.  I was in Great Barrington (again) but this time with a few lovely ladies for my bachelorette party.

Happy Monday, guys! If you live on the east coast are you preparing for the blizzard that’s coming our way? How do you ready yourself? Do you have a go-to storm shopping list? I’m already stir crazy just thinking about the weather. I was going to bear witness to the madness at my local Whole Foods, but Matt assures me we can walk to Shun Lee in case of emergency.

New Yorkers: Do you order in during a storm? It’s a city-dwellers ethical dilemma.

Last week was a great one and it ended with my first-ever Cycle for Survival experience.

Happy Monday! How was your weekend? Did anyone else get stuck in Saturday’s torrential downpour? I sure did.

Also, help a sister out: Is anyone registered to run the Lululemon SeaWheeze Half Marathon this August? I was thinking of signing up and TOTALLY blanked and now of course it’s long sold out. Anyone have a bib (or two bibs) they’d like to offload?

One more thing, you know, while you’re here. I have entry to the NYC Marathon this November. (AHHH!) I’m already nervous! Does anyone have a first-timers marathon training plan to recommend? SEND IT MY WAY!

Happy Monday! Did you have a long weekend? Did you do anything fun? I spent the weekend in Great Barrington, Massachusetts (I had a hair and make up trial for my wedding!!!). Here’s how I spent the last week in workouts.

Monday: Nothing
Tuesday: Lyon’s Den Power Yoga hour-long class with Matt (Hey, it was Valentine’s Day!) They played power ballads and it was taught by John Murray who was an awesome instructor. Sign me up for more.
