Last week was all about not running so damn much now that the Cherry Blossom race is over. So instead of running, I watched a documentary about an ultra-marathon and felt totally inspired. (Video at the bottom of this post!)

Hello, friends. I hope you had a lovely Memorial Day weekend.
I visited Toronto during the long weekend to visit my dear pal Kyla. But before that, I had a lighter week of workouts. Post-BK Half, it wasn’t that I was too sore (I was the normal amount of sore) but what gave me pause was the need for a mental break. I didn’t feel like pushing myself, and I need a recovery period from the racing/going hard mentality. So I took one. I highly recommend it.
