All the workouts: 9/26 – 10/2

Hi Ladies and Gents! I am still waiting on my new orthotics so I didn’t go running at all this week. But thanks to ClassPass, I kept busy on the workout front. I also have a Refine Method package and a Barry’s package, for those wondering.  I currently have the 10 class per month ClassPass membership.  I tend to go over 10 classes a month when I’m in town a lot of the month, even more so when I’m not running.

All the workouts 7/18-7/24

Hey hey hey. How’s your week going?

I have two big races coming up: the Bronx 10-miler on September 25 and the Hamptons Half on October 1. I’ve been majorly slacking on running because I’ve been traveling and it’s just too hot out there. Last week, I laced up my sneakers and ran some pretty short distances, and I’m slowly acclimating to the heat. Does anyone have any tips for running in the heat? Other than don’t do it?

All of the workouts: 7/11 – 7/17

Hello lovelies. Last week I was all over the place. I was away from home every day but Thursday. During the week I traveled on two different work trips and over the weekend I went to the beach. I’m not complaining. It suits me to move around this much. But as I shared earlier this week, I often end up slacking in the fitness department.

In other news, this is the first month that ClassPass’s price change takes effect. (Instead of unlimited classes for $125, you are now limited to 10 classes at the $125 monthly rate. Alternatively, you could pay more for unlimited access.)  I am on the 10 class per month plan. We shall see how it goes. I have a feeling I will like this (even though I’ll spend more money) since I’ll be getting exactly what I want after those 10 classes an on ClassPass by purchasing classes at my favorite studios. (Sometimes on ClassPass you have to hustle to get the class you want.)

Every time I worked out the last two weeks (6/27-7/10)

Life really got in the way of my fitness routine the last two weeks. I’m physically feeling the effects of the workout hiatus and as so often follows the free-falling eating habits. But I readily accept that these things happen. I’m hoping to get back on track next week. But here’s what went down.
