All the workouts: NYC, Philly and DC in one week edition

Good morning. I had a lovely little tour of the Mid-Atlantic last week. Work brought me to Philadelphia toward the end of the week and my friend Dara got married in Washington DC over the subsequent weekend.

Song of the week: “Follow” by Crystal Fighters (Great to run to!)

Here’s what went down:

Monday: Nothing. People are always saying “never miss a Monday.”  I pretty much always miss Mondays.

Tuesday: Core Fusion at Exhale Gramercy (located in the Gansevoort Hotel, tres cool)

Wednesday: 5 miles (ish, I think my Garmin overcounted) with my pal Katy. It felt so good to get up and run in the morning before work. I haven’t done that in too long. I was riding the struggle bus trying to talk while running. But I think I just need practice.

Thursday: Refine Method + a little extra arms and abs (the #RefineTake2 Challenge ends December 18 and I am still chugging along.)

Every time I worked out last week (4/11- 4/17)

Good morning, sunshine(s)! Did you have a good week? The Boston Marathon was last Monday and like many of you, I have race fever! Speaking of racing, earlier this week I shared my race etiquette wish list. Got anything to add to that list?

Every time I worked out last week:

Monday: I finally tried Pop Physique (a California-originated barre studio that opened an outpost in NYC). The studio has a sassy-chic aesthetic. I liked the workout. It’s very similar to Physique57 in structure and intensity.
