All the workouts: Lots of goodies edition

Good morning. Excuse me as I hit you up with some random goodies.

Last week the New York Road Runners announced the results of the NYC Marathon lottery. Did any one get in? I’m running NYC (and it’s my first ever marathon) this year and would love to know if any readers/friends will be training too. Let me know in the comments! I received guaranteed entry through the NYRR 9+1 program. If you didn’t get in, but want to run, there are two ways to still score a bib. Learn more here.

Anyone else love the Lego movies? Check out this awesome bike helmet that gives you Lego hair.  (I think Matt needs it.)

All the workouts: February Fitness Edition

Happy Monday! How was your weekend? Did anyone else get stuck in Saturday’s torrential downpour? I sure did.

Also, help a sister out: Is anyone registered to run the Lululemon SeaWheeze Half Marathon this August? I was thinking of signing up and TOTALLY blanked and now of course it’s long sold out. Anyone have a bib (or two bibs) they’d like to offload?

One more thing, you know, while you’re here. I have entry to the NYC Marathon this November. (AHHH!) I’m already nervous! Does anyone have a first-timers marathon training plan to recommend? SEND IT MY WAY!

Here is a review of this week’s workouts:

Monday: Didn’t workout
Tuesday: Did some PT exercises in my apartment
Wednesday: Didn’t work out
Thursday: 4.3 mile run in DC

Pop Physique, I love you

I am no newbie to the barre scene. I’m a devoted Physique 57 fan and I’ve tried all the major studios: Exhale, Barre3, Pure Barre, FlyBarre and Xtend Barre. I’ve even taken a barre class in PanamaBut recently, I’ve fallen hard for Pop Physique. This LA-based studio opened in NYC last year and I’ve had nothing but fabulous experience sinces.

Pop Physique, I love you. Let me count the ways.
