I’m pretty excited to share my duathlon experience, which I’ve been referring to in my head as “2Chainz,” you’ll see why soon.
This past Saturday, I ran in my first race in nearly a year. (Technically I participated a Turkey Trot with my family last Thanksgiving, but I didn’t race it.)
Five friends signed up for the Hamptons Half Marathon and I registered for the accompanying 5K. Two lovely ladies joined us for the weekend and came out to cheer, so our group made eight in East Hampton.
Oh hey what’s up hello.
I did it again. I went a very long time without posting. In my hiatus I’ve been reading and watching a ton of really cool fitness-related content and have some incredible things to share.
Last Saturday I rode my bike from my apartment on the West Side, through Central Park and then all the way down Park Avenue to the Brooklyn Bridge. And back.
How was I able to do that? Because I am a biking goddess! And because the NYC DOT closes Park Avenue to car traffic from 7am to 1pm the first three Saturdays in August in a festival called Summer Streets.
My best bud Natalie lives in San Francisco. This is very inconvenient for hanging out. But when she does grace the East Coast (or when I visit her out West) we easily fall back into old routines.
