I do not like the cold. That’s why I take dressing for a winter run so seriously. These are my deep, dark thoughts about working out in the winter (or any temperature below 50 degrees).
When my alarm goes off and it’s still dark outside
How I think it’s necessary to dress to walk 5 blocks to Refine Method
When the instructor says anything like, “summer bodies are built in the winter”
When your 6am SoulCycle is crowded in January because of New Years Resolution makers
When I run outside and forget to check the windchill
What I wear on the random day the temperature hits 50 degrees
When I finish working out and decide to sit on the couch with a light snack
When Matt asks if I want to CitiBike somewhere (even if I ran outside in the very same weather)
But on a more helpful note, here are some tips for working out in the winter. Stay warm, friends!
