Last weekend we escaped to Maine to visit Acadia National Park. We LOVED it. I wrote about hiking and biking in Maine. Check out those posts here:
Here’s the full recap from week four of marathon training:
Tuesday: 3.5 miles in NYRR group training class. This was meant to be speed work but I was barely able to run, let alone run quickly. My legs/body were totally spent.
Wednesday: I followed a yoga for runners video I found on Youtube and did a few planks
Friday: 9-mile run in Portland + short hike in Acadia National Park (the Great Head Trail). The run was tough, I had the chills and was sweating at the same time. Has that happened to you?
Saturday: 20-mile bike ride on the carriage paths in Acadia National Park and a hike up the Beehive Trail also in Acadia National Park
Sunday: 4-mile run in Acadia + 3 hour kayak tour near Bartlett Island, Maine
