Hi there! It’s been a fabulous whirlwind since I last posted. Last Saturday, Matt and I got married! I can’t thank our friends and our family enough for making it the most magical weekend of my life. It was better than I even allowed myself to imagine.

I could talk about the wedding weekend forever. But before we get to that, let’s talk about the week of workouts leading up to the wedding:
Monday: 30-minute training session. I’ve been seeing Leo Pinto of Leo Results Fitness. I can’t recommend him enough! Full post on this coming soon.
Tuesday: Barry’s Bootcamp (Legs & Butt day). I went straight from work to the 7:50pm class.
Wednesday: 30-minute training session, I was a pretty tired and loopy here since this was an early morning session that followed a late night Barry’s class. Leo (who I love) asked me to push a sled and I wanted to cry inexplicably.
Thursday: 30-minute training session before leaving for the Berkshires
Friday: Nothing
Saturday: (WEDDING DAY) We invited our wedding guests to join the groom on a morning run. (I wasn’t sure if I was going to want to join the morning of the wedding, so we framed it as a run with Matt.) I woke up, grabbed coffee with Matt and my best friend Natalie. Then I put on my running sneakers and was so happy to join the group. It started to rain during the run. But it didn’t rain during our lakeside ceremony, so it’s OK by me! I covered less than 3 miles but it was not about the distance but the incredibly fun feeling of bopping around with friends and family on the morning of our wedding.

Sunday: Nothing! I was barely awake but so very happy!
How was your week!?
Congrats on your wedding! I wish you guys many happy years of wedded bliss and happy running miles.

thank you so much!
One of my best memories of my (long-ago) wedding is running with my brother on the day of the wedding. I’d slept terribly (3 year old flower girls are not good roommates the night before one’s wedding!) but that run just started the day off, literally, on the right foot.
