Happy Friday, friends! Did everyone have a nice Memorial Day Weekend? What’d ya get up to?
A few things before we get started. Feeling stressed? I enjoyed this post from The Blissful Mind on how to calm anxious thoughts. On a similar topic, my pal Ali Feller wrote an article for Well & Good that’s well worth a read: “The (very controllable) reason you might be more stressed than you were three years ago.”
Now, on to last week’s workouts:
Monday: Personal training. This is new! I’ll write a more detailed post about who I am seeing and how its going after a few more sessions.
Wednesday: Metabolic Burn at Body Space Fitness
Thursday: Abs day at Barry’s Bootcamp, Matt made a special appearance and joined me (which was much appreciated especially since my usual Barry’s buddy, Caroline, is traveling)
Friday: 20-minute Peloton class + 30 minute personal training session. Fun fact for New Yorkers: Peloton offers FREE 20 and 30-minute classes mid-day. My office closed early for Memorial Day so I hit one up! Check out their schedule for the shorter class times. They are first come first serve and totally free! You even get free shoe rental, towel and water!
Saturday: Physique 57. This felt so hard because I definitely needed a workout break. When the instructor lowered the lights I wanted a nap.
Sunday: Didn’t work out. It was glorious. I had brunch with my pal Sarah and saw OSLO with my mom. It was fantastic (though admittedly long).
