Save money on NYCRuns races with code BC17NH

October 19, 2017: UPDATE the below code has expired. If you’d like to run the Big Apple Half Marathon or the Queens Half Marathon, use NH10 as your discount code!

Hi all! Just popping in briefly to share some news. I was selected to be a NYCRuns ambassador. What does this mean for you? Race discounts on a ton of races in NYC!  The team at NYCRuns gave me a handy promo code and I am excited to share the goods with you.

Use the code BC17NH at checkout and you’ll save $5 or $10. You can use the code as many times as you like.

NYC Runs

NYCRuns produces races on behalf of organizations (usually charities) and also runs their own races. The discount code only works on NYCRuns races.

Here are some of the races coming up where the code applies:

Check out the full list at NYCRuns.com. Not so long ago, I wrote about starting a running habit. Why not use this race discount as the impetus to sign up and get running.

Here is the fun announcement from the folks at NYCRuns.

Meet Nicole Haber! Nicole is a member of the #NYCRUNS Blue Crew, our Ambassador program. She started running when she lived in DC and her first big race was the Broad Street 10 miler in Philly. Looking back, she realized she was totally unprepared. She finished the race, but ended up with a hairline fracture in her ankle. So, she took some time off. But in 2012, she moved to NYC and fell more in love with running than before. She loves running on the West Side Highway and in Central Park. Running makes her feel like she’s a part of a special community. She remembers one particularly rainy Saturday morning – the sky cleared up around 2pm and she headed out to Central Park for a run. Park Drive was packed with runners, so many people had left their apartments at the exact same time and somehow, they didn’t feel like strangers. Nicole has run two half marathons, and PR-ed by 23 minutes in the second one! She’s training for her first-ever Marathon, the NYC Marathon in November. She also writes a fitness blog called Cuckoolemon.com aimed at making fitness accessible to everyone. She couldn’t ride a bike until she was 30, but has since completed a Duathlon and biked from the Upper West Side to Coney Island! Be sure to follow Nicole on social @colehaber for exclusive NYCRUNS updates & discounts!

it should still work. but it only works for NYCRuns hosted races. So if the race benefits a charity, it may not work. What are you trying to sign up for?

Hi! I’m trying to use this code for the Queens half in November but it’s coming up as invalid. Is there an updated code that would work? Thanks!
