Oh hello. Does anyone have any tips for not binge eating over the holidays? I don’t have a single one. It’s been cookies for breakfast, lunch and dinner over here. All of my protein intake comes from the whole milk I use in hot chocolate, so that’s nice. Balance?
Monday: Soulcycle theme ride with my sister. (The theme was Taylor Swift vs Her Exes). I didn’t love this class, I’ll be honest. I hate how cramped the room is at the 77th Street studio. The rider-in-front-of-me’s ass is unavoidably in my face. I don’t feel like there is any room to do the arm work (at least not with my wingspan). I loved hanging with Jill though. Also,is it basic to go to a Taylor Swift-themed Soul class then get salads with your sister? Asking for a friend.
Tuesday: Physical Therapy at Finish Line (How happy does this place look?)
Wednesday: Refine Method and 4.5-mile run in DC
Thursday: Nothing (cause, you know I worked out twice on Wednesday)
Friday: Refine Method – the last challenge class!
Saturday: 4.2 mile hilly run in the snow in the Berkshires (Not sure what to wear to run in the snow? Check this out!)
Sunday: Gentle/moderate yoga class at Yoga Great Barrington. I’ve been thinking about checking this place out for years and I finally did this weekend. The class was relaxing and wonderful. It was about an hour and fifteen minutes and had lots of twists and restorative poses, my favorite yoga stuff. The studio was much cuter than I thought it would be.
By the time you get to this part of the blog post, I should be in Mexico. Matt and I are headed south til the New Year.
Have a great holiday!!
