All the workouts: 12/5- 12/11 (SF edition!)

Good morning! Hello from the other side of a busy week. (For what it’s worth, I like being busy.)

Last weekend, I took a trip to the west coast to visit my best girl Natalie, who recently became a mom! I flew to San Francisco with friends Simone and Jamie to meet baby Ellie and pay her mom a visit and it turned into a really special weekend! But before we get into that, this week’s recap.

Monday: Nothing

7am in Central Park

Tuesday: 5-mile morning run with Katy. Leaving my apartment when it’s dark is really tough but I love meeting Katy for a morning run. I feel so good once we get going.

Wednesday: Refine Method

Thursday: Refine Method

Friday: Nothing. I was in SF visiting my long distance best friend Natalie who had a baby in August! 3 of her east coast friends flew out to meet her adorable baby Ellie. I didn’t partake in any formal fitness on Friday, but we did walk up these steps.

Saturday: SoulCycle in the Castro. Natalie is obsessed with Soul and Jamie (one of the aforementioned east coast friends) had never been so we had to immediately change that.

Sunday: I went for a solo 4-mile run to/in Golden Gate Park. San Francisco was so humid and hilly that the run was much tougher than expected. (I knew SF was hilly, but I thought this route was going to be a bit tamer.) Golden Gate Park is an awesome place to run. Check out this post from the Bold Italic on the best running trails in SF.

Thank you! It was a beautiful run nonetheless. Looks like a great place for a half!
