All the workouts: NYC, Philly and DC in one week edition

Good morning. I had a lovely little tour of the Mid-Atlantic last week. Work brought me to Philadelphia toward the end of the week and my friend Dara got married in Washington DC over the subsequent weekend.

Song of the week: “Follow” by Crystal Fighters (Great to run to!)

Here’s what went down:

Monday: Nothing. People are always saying “never miss a Monday.”  I pretty much always miss Mondays.

Tuesday: Core Fusion at Exhale Gramercy (located in the Gansevoort Hotel, tres cool)

Wednesday: 5 miles (ish, I think my Garmin overcounted) with my pal Katy. It felt so good to get up and run in the morning before work. I haven’t done that in too long. I was riding the struggle bus trying to talk while running. But I think I just need practice.

Thursday: Refine Method + a little extra arms and abs (the #RefineTake2 Challenge ends December 18 and I am still chugging along.)

Friday: 5-mile run along the Schuylkill River Trail  in Philly

Saturday: I took my first [solidcore] class in Philly. It was great and so hard.

Sunday: 5-mile train run in DC with Matt (this part was paved but a lot of it was unpaved). We connected a route in Rock Creek Park with the C&O Trail.

So in total I ran 15 miles in 3 cities. How was your week? Try anything new?
