All the workouts: 8/22-28

This week was a lot of fun, but now I’m pretty tired and my constitution is 90% sugar. I used up my 10 classes at ClassPass about a week before my CP cycle ended. ClassPass users, have you been going through your allotted amount ahead of schedule? Or is 10 classes per month a good amount for you?

I also have some pretty cool news. Cuckoolemon was chosen as one of Feedspot’s top 100 Fitness Blogs. Thanks, Feedspot!

And now, for this week’s workouts and some really silly photos:

Monday: 4-mile run. I ran home from work for the first time. I work in the Flatiron area and so I ran across town to the West Side Highway, and then ran uptown until I got to Pier i where I met Matt for dinner. He works in Tribeca and runs home all of the time. We met at the Frying Pan and logged a mile or so together.


Tuesday: Core Fusion Barre class at Exhale in the morning

Wednesday: 5-mile run. I ran home from work again. This time I extended the run to get to 5 miles.

Thursday: Nothing

Friday: I flew to Ohio to celebrate my good pals Lesley and Jon’s wedding. I did a short arms/abs workout in the hotel before their rehearsal dinner.

Saturday: I wanted to run 6 miles, but it was just too hot. I ran 3 miles and that was a true test of grit. I ran over a bridge from Ohio into Kentucky. That was pretty great.

Sunday: Nothing

I leave for Italy tomorrow for a weeklong trip with my husband-elect (Matthew) and his parents and sister. I’ll share fitness updates from abroad!

    I recognize that run! I go to Cincinnati for work often and love running along the river! Have so much fun in Italy!
