Every time I worked out last week (4/25 – 5/1)

The Brooklyn Half is a few weeks away and my long runs are getting long (to me). I have to recalibrate how long I can work out after a long run. (It’s Tuesday and I’m still feeling Saturday’s run.) All in all, it was a lovely and busy week. Here’s what went down:

Monday: Uplift Express. I’ve taken 3 classes at Uplift and this place always exceeds expectations. More on this studio here!

Tuesday: Row House Core 50 class at the Columbus Circle Row House. My first Row House experience was accompanied by my pal Katy. The first 10 minutes of rowing hurt my back – a lot. But the instructor helped with my form and then I really liked the class.

Wednesday: 3.4 mile run + Pop Physique (I am loving these classes!)

Thursday: REST. I was going to run but my legs needed a break.

Friday: Physique57 and IronStrength teamed up for a free event in Central Park. I was very excited for it, but it rained so I didn’t make it through the entire event.

Saturday: I ran 11 miles. It felt terrible! I woke up with a headache but I knew the forecast for Sunday was rainy, so I committed myself to the run. I only ate a bite of a Cliff Bar and forgot to bring chews. Big mistake. Running to the Little Red Lighthouse was magical, or that could’ve been an element of my hunger hallucination.

Sunday: Great Flow class at Yoga Vida in NoHo.
