Every time I worked out last week (2/15 -2/21)

Oh, hey.  How is your week going?

When we left off, I was sick in LA.   Now it’s time for this week’s workout recap.

Monday: The fog finally lifted (I am referring to my sickness, LA was 80 and sunny the whole time). The gang went on a 7-mile hike in Griffith Park. It was hot and lovely.

Tuesday: A 3-mile run up the Hollywood Hills where I was really riding the struggle bus. This was STEEP, comparable to running up Harlem Hills (or a higher grade) for 1.5 miles and then running  back down.

Wednesday: I went to a Solace Sculpt class, and it was kind of a shit show. There was a sub (though I believe she is on the schedule at another time) and the sound system didn’t work. Neither did any sort of climate control system, so it was super hot. The teacher really let the fact that the sound system was down get her off her game. She played music from her phone and made comments about how awkward it was.

Thursday: Dash 28 at Mile High Run Club taught by Laura (I love her). I hate treadmill running but I love this class.

Friday: Physique 57 invited me to a pre-work class to experience their new FiDi studio. I’ve been once before, but now it’s totally done and GORGEOUS (Disclosure: I didn’t pay for this class, I came as a guest of the studio. But my love of P57 is well documented as you know and opinions are my own.) The class had two instructors, so we got lots of corrections. The music was a throwback and I loved it. The new studio has huge windows so the room has uplifting natural light. The locker rooms are airy and luxurious. INTO IT.

Saturday: I ran 5 miles mostly along the West Side Highway. This was my longest run of 2016 and it felt hard.

Sunday: Nada! I cheered for Matt at his half marathon.

    Great job!! Those hollywood hills look like the hills from the Nike Half in San Fran!

    Nice week of workouts! I also love Mile High Run Club! I’ve still never been to a Physique 57 class..definitely on my list!
