Happy Monday! I heard from a bunch of you that you loved Matt’s guest post last week. If you missed his marathon recap, it’s right here.
Last week in workouts
Sunday: Unless cheering is a workout, I didn’t workout

Monday: I rested from the prior day’s cheering/not working out
Tuesday: 3 mile run + 1 hour of physical therapy (Squat City, Population: Me)
Wednesday: Aimlessness at the gym. Does anyone else feel this way at the gym? If I don’t take a class or use the treadmill I’m not sure how to make an effective workout.
Thursday: nothing
Friday: 6 mile run in DC. (I was traveling for work.) It felt awesome. My longest run post-injury.
Saturday: My first class at the Fhitting Room. LOVED! Can’t wait to go back.
I bought my first running watch this week, the Garmin Forerunner 225. So far I’ve used it once and I’ll write a bit more about it once I get a better sense of it.
I read SoulCycle’s blog from time to time and while their transformation stories are often touching, this story in particularly intense. After 22 days in a coma, a young Soul Cyclist returned with vengeance to her schedule of 2-a-days.
What else is happening? What else should I be reading?
I often feel aimless at the gym too, or just end up doing the same thing every time because that’s the routine I’m in. Also, looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the new Garmin!

Yes! One run in and I love it. But I don’t know how to use some of the features yet.
