I’m Nicole, the crazy bird behind Cuckoolemon. I read a ton of very serious (and very admirable) running and fitness blogs.  And I love them.

But dear curious about-page reader, more likely than not, you’re like me. I don’t have a razor sharp competitive edge, or low enough splits to stand on a podium. But do I own a formidable chest full of spandex workout clothes? YES.  I exercise, I try new things. I’m sorta into kale.  Sometimes I trip over my own shoelaces and sometimes I set a new PR. If I get up at 5am to work out it’s under duress.

So why should you read this? Because I am going to explore new health/sports/fitness activities, and I’m not perfect. In fact I’m a major league goof. So it will be a fun, realistic journey that I hope you relate to.

Me, not running
Me, not running

About me

I live in New York City. I moved from Washington DC in 2012.  I come from a family of exercisers, not athletes. I’ve run two half marathons, and improved my time by nearly 25 minutes in the second.

Not sure where to start?

Hey Nicole, I was recently with you training at the NTC and model fit event hosted in late October. I was wondering if you could share with me how you got the images from the event and where I could possibly look over some myself?

    Hi Nicole,

My name’s Kristen and I am a blogger/writer for Diet-to-Go. Each year, we put together a list of 100 inspirational bloggers in the weight loss/fitness/healthy living/healthy eating realm.

The list is not something we take lightly. We put countless hours into finding the best bloggers so that we can direct our customers and readers to people who can truly motivate, inspire and help them in their own weight loss journeys.

This year, we put together our list with a twist: We selected bloggers that were less well-known, but who deserve recognition for all they offer on their blogs.

The reason I’m contacting you is to let you know that this year, we selected YOU for our list! Congratulations! We think your story, posts and dedication to healthy living and/or weight loss is something to look up to, admire and shout to the world.

Please feel free to check out the list on your own here: http://diettogo.com/blog/top-100-inspirational-weight-loss-bloggers

And, if you’d like to share the honor with others, feel free to embed your “Top 100 Weight Loss Blog” badge on your site.

Here’s the embed code for the small badge:

    And for the large badge:

Finally, we want to personally thank you for being brave enough and dedicated enough to share your life and your journey with others. You are truly an inspiration!

Feel free to reach out to me directly with any questions or comments.

It’s amazing to see your blog as it inspires us to stay fit. I’m not a marathon runner but I’m conscious about my fitness. So, I like to run every morning and your blog inspires me to stay on the fitness track. Many many thanks for your great work!

Do you want to try the only ARX (adaptive Resistance Training. https://arxfit.com/) machine in NYC & blog about it?
I can arrange that as I am a trainer with access to it.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hey – fun blog! Me also a runner, but Colorado trails and mountains. I’ll be in NYC next week and have been scouring the web to decide which barre classes to try which may be different that what I have at home. I got a slot at sculpt society and and have narrowed my second class down to Simone or P57. In one of your blogs you say BbyS is your favorite but P57 is on top of your favorites list. Which one wins? Thanks!
