I wasn’t feeling so awesome this week so I only worked out a few times.
Before I jump into this week’s short re-cap I wanted to share a little info about my new iPhone case. I had a reckless history of iPhone ownership. I’ve drowned my phone in the toilet (who hasn’t?), tossed it down the incinerator of a large Manhattan apartment building (it was an accident), and left it in too many cabs to count (though the NYC Taxi dispatcher system always seemed to find me and return the phone; god bless them).
When Tech21 reached out to me and asked if I wanted to try their EVO Mesh Sport case, a phone case geared toward the active person, I was up for the challenge. The case boasts an ultra-thin and super lightweight exterior with advance shock protection.
I’ve been using the case for about two weeks and what I like most about it is that I forget it’s there at all. It offers effective protection (I drop my phone around 8x a day on a slow day) without any extra heft.
The case also works very smoothly with the normal iPhone jacks and buttons. In prior extra-protective cases, I had issues getting the volume button to work quickly, but not here. I have the case in a bright blue and its quite darling. Thanks, Tech21!
Now for this week’s workouts:
Wednesday: High 45 at Mile High Run Club. This was hard and amazing. My stomach was only feeling so/so but I powered through.
Saturday: Core Fusion at Exhale. Always a good workout even if the teacher did ask my name 3x in the first 15 minutes of class. I should wear a shirt that says: HELLO MY NAME IS “YOU’RE DOING THAT MOVE WRONG”
Sunday: I tried SURFSET!
I am headed to Stratton, Vermont for the long weekend. I jammed my SI joint falling off a surf board in Mexico, but hopefully I’m healed enough to ski at my basic level of skiing. 🙂
